The cowhides below are the actual ones sent; as a result, multiple hides of any one picture cannot be ordered. If more than one hide is wanted, please call us or find another hide on our website.
Unfortunately, as with all other light colored cowhides, it is all but impossible to accurately photograph the light palomino and taupe colored cowhides shown below. What makes it even more difficult is the fact that we shoot all these cowhides outside, under bright sun, which makes it even that more difficult to accurately capture the true color of these particular cowhides. In addition, because of the resultant glare caused by the sun, most of the pictures will be somewhat washed out indicated by bright shiny areas.
This is probably more true with the taupe colored or greyish brown cowhides at the bottom of the page. Again, the photographs simply do not do these cowhides justice. This taupe color, by the way, is quite rare in a cowhide. We just happen to have more here at one time than we have ever had before.

What's particularly unfortunate is the fact that you can't see the beautiful sheen in some of these hides, particularly the light palomino hides at the top of the page. This is not the case for the taupe colored hides at the bottom since the bright sun makes most of these taupe colored hides quite shiny which is indicative of a natural sheen on the hides.
Rest assured THAT EVERY COWHIDE PHOTOGRAPHED BELOW IS TRULY A ONE-OF-A-KIND COWHIDE that few people will ever have a chance to find in a retail store. That having been said, please note that unless otherwise stated, these rare one of a kind hides will still have the normal markings that 99% of all other cowhides in the world will have, including brands and the normal markings from the tanning process.
